The Camera Workshop

 We looked at Cameras and How they are used for the creation of our music videos. 

We first looked at this screen. Throughout this whole workshop we looked at the small screen to see the camera footage. This is used for getting a better look at the footage. This is useful for a class looking at a camera shot. It can be useful for the music video as if we want to see exactly how our shots look then we can look into the screen.

This here shows all of the different prime lenses. The prime lenses are different than the lens that can zoom in and out. The prime lenses are all at one specific distance but to a higher quality of the same distance but with the zooming lens. All of these lenses can be very useful for filming a music video. It can be useful for our band, If we want to take a very high quality close up on one of the band members, then we can do that easily because we can take one of the lenses that would be very closely zoomed in rather than taking the default lens and zooming in. It is very useful as I could take a variety of different shots at different distances with these, and they would all be high quality which means that the music video would look really good.

The small screen can be used to adjust the shutter angle. A shutter Angle at 180 degrees is neutral and the image looks really normal and realistic. If the shutter angle is lower, then the image would look more dark, this could be used for more darker music like rock. If the shutter angle is higher then the image is more warm. This can be used for our band which is a very happy indie pop song, This can be useful for representing the themes and showing off the mood very effectively.

We learned on how to instruct people how to move. We have to tell them the exact movements and be clear of where they want to be. We have to talk as much as we can to them, if talking does not work than we can move them slightly with our hands, sort of direct them to where they need to go. This is useful for filming the music video as we know how to instruct the band actors.
